Growing the Perfect Crop

Growing the Perfect Crop

Every year, we put our hopes into something small but full of potential—a tiny seed. We trust the land, the weather, and a million unpredictable factors, all in the pursuit of growing the best crop we can. Farming in 2025 is no simple task, but year after year, we endure. Why? Because there’s nothing quite like the challenge and reward of producing something from the soil with our own hands.

One of our best-selling products, dried corn, begins its journey in the early weeks of March. After months of careful tending—watering (a lot of watering), monitoring, and hoping—we finally reach a milestone: harvest in August. This is when we assess the crop, seeing firsthand the fruits of our labor. Then comes the next step—combining, bagging, and ensuring that every kernel maintains its peak freshness.

Folks say our corn is perfectly dried, just the way wildlife loves it. And we have the proof—after harvest, our fields become a gathering place for deer, turkey, and all kinds of critters, nibbling on what’s left behind. It’s a sight that reminds us why we do this year after year.

We take great pride in knowing that this South Georgia-grown corn has made its way to all 50 states. From coast to coast, wildlife is enjoying the very same corn we carefully nurture from seed to harvest. It’s a little dream that grows bigger every year, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.

Here’s to another season of hard work, hope, and the joy of farming.
